Bamboo Grove Cotton Socks

I mentioned before that I was testing a sock pattern for somebody on Ravelry. Well I finished it and sent my comments to the designer (DigitalDurga on Ravelry). She told me to feel free to post the socks on blogs etc. so here it is:
It was knitted with Elann Esprit yarn. It's a cotton yarn with a bit of elastic in it so the resulting object is very stretchy. It worked for this socks because the stretchyness allows the socks to conform to your foot. The socks were knit two at a time using the magic loop technique (for non-knitters, it's where you use a long circular needle to knit a project in the round such as socks and hats without using double-pointed needles (dpns)). When the pattern is finalized for these socks, it will be availble on DigitalDurga's Ravelry project page here:

Test knitting was fun. There was no time limit really (she only needed it done by the end of April or so) so I could take my time to enjoy the knitting and take note of things as I went along. I would definitely like to do some more test/sample knitting for designers when I get a chance!

As for my personal knitting, I'm so lucky to have someone guard my precious yarn stash (in that plastic container):
Wait, he's not guarding it, he's sleeping....useless..his ass is so fired.
