Pink Kitteh hat

Holy crap! USA scored just under 30 seconds to till the end of the game to make it 2-2 (Gold medal hockey game). I could almost hear the GASP! all the way from Canada. I don't follow hockey at all usually but this is pretty exciting I must say.....I've been sucked in by the drama surrounding this game created by NBC.

Despite being suckered into the NBC generated Olympics dramatics, I've had a productive weekend. I finished the Ravelympics cardi that I blogged about yesterday. I got these medals for finishing my project within the time frame from Ravelry. The cardi qualified for the sweater knitting event and Cable event. Cool eh? I know, I take so much pleasure in little things.
Not only that, I finished knitting the pink kitteh hat. Not bad for a first stranded knitting project.

AND, I even managed to filed my taxes this weekend.
Oh yes, I mentioned several days ago that Kramer was under the weather, but he is all better. I did have to take him to the vet because he stopped eating and had loose stools but he is now fine. The vet said that there doesn't seem to be anything wrong besides just a little tummy trouble. He is back to being a pest.

Oh, the game is over! Canada wins. Canadians are going crazy, tomorrow might as well be a national holiday for them.
